Service: Raw water enters the system and undergoes oxidation in the ozone dome, converting ferrous iron into oxidized form. The water then passes through the filter media, effectively removing ferric iron, taste, and odors.
Backwash: The system initiates a backwash cycle to lift the filter media and flush out trapped iron particles. During this process, ozone is activated and drawn into the tank, thoroughly cleaning the valve, dome, upper basket, and media.
